Starts On C, This is also called the Major scale.

Starts On D, This scale is thought to be mysterious in sound. Used by Progressive Rock Band, Pink Floyd often.

Phyrigian
E,F,G,A,B,C,D

Starts On E, This is usually associated with Spanish Guitar.

Basic Chord Sequence- Em, F, Em, Dm

Lydian
F,G,A,B,C,D,E

Starts On F, This scale is usually used by Shred Guitarists, in particular Steve Vai.

Mixolydian
